Between Bremen and Bremerhaven there is an electrified double-track main railroad line which connects both towns with each other. From the Bremen central station numerous connections with different sighting lead: Hamburg, Hannover, Uelzen, the Ruhr area, Delmenhorst-Oldenburg/-Osnabrück/-Nordenham can be reached from here. A connection in the part of town Vegesack allows to the passengers a connection after to the Farge-Vegesacker railroad and in the part of town Blumenthal.
