Between Köthen and Dessau one of the first German sections was opened, in 1840. The removal of the section occurred bit by bit, so that the distance via Wittenberg and Jüterbog ran up to the Berlin hitchhiker railway station. The road was called hitchhiker road. Köthen could be thereby called the first railroad knots of Germany, the course already lay with Magdeburg-Leipziger-Bahnstrecke. Here you see our videos
